Beth Kennan serves as Director of Real Estate Development for The Community Builders in Virginia a position s/he has held since 2024. Beth manages all development activities in Virginia. Her work includes RFP response management, day-to-day management of all active developments in Virginia and management of the team working in Virginia.

Previously, Beth worked for Enterprise Community Development and Piedmont Housing Alliance on their affordable housing developments in Central Virginia.  Prior to that she spent thirteen years working in commercial real estate and development in the Washington DC metro region.

Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hollins University and a master’s degree in real estate from Georgetown University. In addition, Beth is also a 2019 graduate of the University of Virginia’s Sorensen Institute Political Leaders Program (PLP).
