City, county and state officials joined with the Yonkers Housing Authority (YHA) and The Community Builders (TCB) on May 22 to dedicate a state-of-the-art playscape at The Ridgeway.

Construction Starts at Mildred C. Hailey Apartments in Boston

May 12, 2023

The groundbreaking marks the beginning of construction for two six-story buildings which will be located at 2 and 6 Lamartine Street, once a new road is constructed as part of the project.  The two new buildings will include 223 affordable and moderate-income apartments, a new Anna Mae Cole Community Center and ground floor commercial space.

New Hope Community Capital Awarded $6.2M for Women and Minority Owned Business Neighborhood Investments

This week, Vice President Kamala Harris and Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo announced that the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) has awarded over $1.73 billion, including $6.2 million to New Hope Community Capital, Inc. (NHCC) CDFI.

Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, the City of Cleveland and The Community Builders Awarded a $10 Million HUD Choice Neighborhoods Supplemental Funding Grant

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) and the City of Cleveland a Choice Neighborhoods Supplemental Funding Grant for $10 million, to further support the development of replacement housing in conjunction with the Transformation Plan for Woodhill Homes in the Buckeye- Woodhill neighborhood.
