Cherise Warford serves as the Vice President of Operations for The Community Builders in St Paul, MN, a position she has held since August of 2025. Cherise leads TCB property operations across the Minnesota Region.  She directs and mentor’s portfolio operations in all phases of property leasing, facilities and financial stability, fair housing and reasonable accommodations, marketing, ensuring that the organizations mission-driven business and resident experience objectives and goals are achieved.

Cherise has had a long career in affordable housing management.  Prior to joining TCB, she worked for the Wilder Foundation; South St Paul HRA; St Paul Public Housing, Premier Housing Management, Nath Companies, Metes & Bounds, where she held roles as a Public Housing Administrator, Senior Regional Manager and Director of Property Management.

Cherise holds a bachelor’s degree in business management & communications from Concordia University in St. Paul Minnesota.  Her professional credentials include Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Public Housing Management (PHM) Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) and Entrepreneurial Operating Systems (EOS).
