Sparkle Harris serves as portfolio operations manager for The Community Builders (TCB), a position she has held since 2023. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Sparkle leads operations of a 1,758-unit property portfolio of commercial, family and senior residential properties in the Great Lakes region across Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Sparke’s career has spanned two terms at TCB. In 2018, she served as a community manager at the TCB Broad Creek Renaissance community in Norfolk, Va. Before rejoining TCB in 2023, Sparkle served as regional property manager for S.L. Nusbaum Realty Company in Norfolk, Va. and as a community manager for Harbor Group Management in Norfolk. Her responsibilities included operations oversight of a diverse portfolio encompassing Department of Housing and Urban Development, low income housing tax credit and market rate programs as well as employee management and training.

Sparkle holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She holds a Tax Credit Specialist and Certified Occupancy Specialist® designations from the National Center for Housing Management and a Housing Credit Certified Professional designation from A.J. Johnson Services, Inc.
